The Process

All photography is done at your home or the location of your choice. I have found that outdoor settings not only provide the best lighting but also provide natural “props” that create fantastic portraits. However if weather does not permit I can also shoot indoors with a choice of backdrops and studio lighting ideal for portraiture.

Sessions are by appointment only, usually mid-morning or mid-afternoon for the best outdoor lighting. The average session may last 60-90 minutes but sometimes depending on the situation it could be as little as 30-45 minutes. However I will not leave until everyone is satisfied. If you have any special request, please let me know at the beginning of the session so that we can accommodate you. There is no additional charge for multiple people or pets.

I encourage you to bring your pets favorite toys or treats to help them feel more secure. However I do have toys and treats available if needed.

Your proofs will be presented to you at your home within a few days after your session. During this time you can order your prints, packages and/or other merchandise. Full payment is expected upon ordering. Payment can be made with cash, check, Mastercard, Visa or Discover. Your finished portraits will be delivered to you within a few days after your proof meeting (slightly longer for larger sizes or canvas mounted portraits.
